In the women's sprint, Linn Persson won by 5 seconds ahead of the swift-footed Elvira Oeberg, who even managed to finish second with 3 penalty loops. The third place was taken by Lisa Vittozzi.
The Swedish reserve is still outplaying some athletes from the main team: Johanna Skotnheim 4th, Ingela Andersson 6th. Hanna Oeberg is just 10th, Anna Magnusson is 11th.
A very good result was shown by the Latvian Baiba Bendika - 5th place.
