IBU: "Even one biathlete can become the reason for the quarantined at the whole team"

The IBU does not rule out the possibility of quarantine for the entire national team, in which at least one case of coronavirus has been identified.

«If you have a case of a virus, then the laws of the national health authorities are much higher than the IBU rules on COVID-19. And it depends on the local Ministry of Health which of the team in which the infection was detected will be quarantined. It is quite possible that there will be cases of complete removal of any team.»

A week ago, the entire B team of the Ukrainian national team was quarantined in Vuokatti, due to 3 cases of coronavirus in the team.
