Christian Klaue, director of IOC reported on Twitter: «Sports testing programme in preparation for the Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games @Beijing2022 will be adapted. It will replace the organization of a series of international test events originally planned for the first quarter of 2021».
It means, that the World Cup will not take place in Beijing.
The comment of IBU: «The IBU Executive Board also discussed the calendar for the upcoming season. It expressed its support for the decision taken by the International Olympic Committee, Beijing 2022 and the Winter Olympic International Federations to replace the international test events for Beijing 2022 with an adapted sports testing programme this upcoming season.»
Tomorrow, the Executive Board will decide who be the host of WC-2024 and 2025.
