This year Johannes got married, and Norwegian admits, to coping with both roles: athlete and husband.
"A lot of people was shocked, I got married, when I was just 25. A lot of friend thought - it's too early or spontaneously. But no, i knew, Hedda - right choice. I didn't have to wait".
Is a different between Johannes Boe after and before marrying?
"Yes, now I've got a more love and care", smiled Boe.
How do you combine a private life and biathlon?
"Don't write, you will be a lot of days so far away", laugh Johannes - "It's little bit boring, when you all time together, but long separation can broken relationships too. We understood it before the wedding. But nobody wants, that I was home. Hedda is totally against, that I spending less time on sport. But Hedda know - it's will just some next year. And very awesome feeling, you return home, and meeting like on the first time."
Can you be like Bjorndallen?
"Never will. Ole Einar was a 'perpetual motion machine'. His first wife was a skier, Darya is a biathlete. He has a truck, and live on the stadium. I never will live like he. But if Hedda was a skier, and we've got a truck may be, maybe".
Johannes had three breaks this autumn.
"I feel better and better every day", said Johannes. "I had troubles on shooting, but now I have a new rifle, and I hope, troubles has gone".
Do you consider yourself the best biathlete?
"No, the best - Marten Fourcade. I just vice-champion".
