Maren Kirkeeide wins the individual, Stremous and Kapustova on the podium

All three medalists of this race completed without misses, hitting all 20 targets. Under such circumstances, the faster-footed Norwegian Maren Kirkeeide won the individual race.

Alina Stremous, who represents the Moldavian team, was 46 seconds behind her. By the way, this is already the second success for Stremous in the individual race at the European Championships. In 2022, she also took second place in the individual, then 4th in the sprint, and won the pursuit. And 2 weeks later at the Olympics, she took a high 10th place in the sprint.

In third place is Slovakian Emma Kapustova! There is no need for any Kuzmina, Slovakia has young heroes. For Emma, this is the first full-fledged adult season, as the 21-year-old athlete previously competed only in junior competitions, but this year she was fully involved in the World Cup.

There wasn’t much of a fight for the top three, the next participant was more than a minute behind the Slovakian, Ida Lien was 4th with three misses.

IBU Cup leader Jenny Enodd is only 30th.
