The Swedish national team is famous for the fact that no matter how many qualifying starts you won, the roster chosen by the coaches will still go (hello Ingela Andresson, who twice won races in Sjosjoen in 2019-2020). This year the base is the same, but they took Anton Ivarsson. However, Anna Heidenberg was left with nothing (IBU cup).

By the way, thanks to Johansson’s victory at the IBU Cup last year, the Swedes will have a quota of 7 athletes for the first two events. But the men have 8 biathletes in roster, for 6 places in the race:
Sebastian Samuelsson, Jesper Nelin, Martin Ponsiluoma and Anton Ivarsson - all races, Emil Nykvist and Viktor Brandt (individual only, after they depart for the IBU Cup), and Malte Stefansson and Oskar Brandt (sprint only).
Peppe Femling didn't have time to recover properly and didn't even qualify for the IBU Cup. Perhaps he will begin competing as early as January.
