Ingrid Tandrevold should have won this race, but she ruined everything with two misses in the last shooting.
In the first prone, she made a mistake, but very quickly returned to the leading group, and by the last shooting she completely broke away from the main group of contenders, but alas, two mistakes, and Ingrid remained outside the top 3.
Juni Arnekleiv and Marthe Johansson weren't so fast, but they shot much more accurately, and what is important, they didn't miss at the most crucial moment. Lisa Vittozzi had to compete with them, but the Italians, like the Germans, have slow skies. The Italian went into the last lap with a slight advantage over Johansson, but Marthe «ate» her up, didn’t notice, and began catching up with Juni. It’s a miracle that Lisa was able to stay in the top 3 without letting Tandrevold get close to her.
Juni was either tired or relaxed, but in the last section Johanson gained as much as 10 seconds from her, but Arnekleive controlled everything and finished the race first.
To summarize, in the women's part of the competition, the foreigners weren't as defeated as the men. In addition to Vittozzi in the top 3, Vanessa Voght finished 6th, Janina Hettich came to the last shooting with Marthe Johansson, but missed, and eventually took 9th place.
Lotte Lie is 13th, and even two Italians Samuela Comolla, and Beatrice Trabucci are 14th and 15th.
