Hanna Oeberg wins, Roeiseland and Chevalier leave the biathlon with a good mood and medals

Hanna Oberg won the last race of the season, and we said goodbye to five famous biathletes at once.

At the first shooting, many contenders for the medals earned themselves problems - Denise Herrmann, Anais Chevalier, Doro Wierer - all missed once, and more importantly, by the second shooting they could not close the gap from the leading group.

Well, already at the second shooting, the leading group turned into the leading duet of Julie Simon - Hanna Oberg. Lou Jeanmonnot and Hanna Kebinger also went without misses, but they have already lost a lot. Meanwhile, Denise Herrmann missed twice and was eliminated from the contenders for the medals.

After first standing, Julie Simon had to breathe in the back of her rivals - two penalty loops for the Frenchwoman. But Hanna Oberg and Lou Jeanmonnot managed without misses, and the Swede left the leader, winning 13 seconds from the young Frenchwoman. Third place was taken by Hanna Kebinger, already half a minute behind, but there was no one close to her. None of her pursuers - Tandrevold, Davidova, Magnusson, could knock out 5 out of 5. Marte Roeiseland came in fourth place, inferior in pace to the leaders.

Hanna Oberg came to the last shooting alone, missed with one shot, and ran away to the penalty loop. But she didn’t have to worry, out of the entire huge pursuit group, only Marte Roeiseland was able to shoot cleanly. The Norwegian reduced the gap to 15 seconds, but could no longer catch up with the Swede. However, even second place in the last race of his career is a great result.

And in third place was the German Kebinger, who even one miss didn't prevent her from maintaining this position. However, Anais Chevalier rushed after her, and caught her, leaving the disassembly for the last place on the podium to the finish line. And the drama didn't happen, Anais Chevalier on the podium in her last race. Moreover, Denise Herrmann somehow managed to win back 30 seconds from Dorothea Wierer, overtaking Anna Gandler along the way, and finish 6th, hitting the flower ceremony.

And already after the finish, it became clear from the TV that another well-known, but not so-titled athlete, Marie Eder, ended her career, she was also seen off with flowers and champagne.
