Norway won the women's relay in Oestersund, France and Germany on the podium

Norwegians very often have problems shooting, sometimes less experienced biathletes, sometimes top athletes, the level of Roeiseland, but today Lien and Arneklev performed just brilliantly, and Tandrevold and Røiseland did not disappoint!

The first leg was pretty smooth, and even Estonia and Finland placed in 14th and 15th positions, were only a minute behind the leader. And the first leg was won by Lou Jeanmonnot. However, a lot of biathletes lagged behind quite a bit. All teams, except Poland and Switzerland, were no more than 25 seconds behind.

At the second leg, four leaders have already been identified. Norwegians Arneklev and Lien completed the task to the maximum, and remained in the leading group. Dorothea Wierer was unconvincing compared to the weaker Lien, Kebinger, Chevalier, and Juppe, and could not break away from her rivals. So, the leaders were the teams of France, Italy, Germany and Norway.

Already at the prone of the 3rd leg, more experienced opponents left alone Samuela Comolla. Although the Italian didn't lose pace, she still had problems with the rifle on the standing, and she lagged behind even more. Caroline Colombo also had problems with shooting, so Tandrevold and Voigt were left alone. Colombo was 18 seconds behind, Comolla passed the relay to Vittozzi 55 seconds behind. Oeberg and Davidova were 1 minute 15 seconds behind. Representatives of Ukraine and Austria lost 30 seconds each on the final lap, and they were almost two minutes behind the leader.

Already at prone, Roeiseland and Herrmann parted ways, Marte was accurate, but Denise needed 2 extra bullets to hit all the targets. Because of this oversight, Anais Chevalier caught up with her. And around later, the problems with the Germans continued, and the Frenchwoman left alone for the final lap.

All the contenders passed the final round alone, not being able to catch up with their rivals. France second, Germany third. Lisa Vittozzi closed the gap a little, not enough to break into the top 3.

The Swedes, as expected, did not claim medals in this race. This was clear from the results of the individual race, and the previous stage in Nove Mesto. The local team took 5th place.
