France beat Norwegians in men's relay

Vetle Christiansen's insecure shooting at the first leg, which led to Norway falling behind by one minute, didn't cause any concern. Come on, it's the Norwegians, they'll play back a minute, no problem. But then the problems just continued.

And the leaders after the first leg were the teams of France, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. German representative Justus Strelow didn't pull their pace at all, who lost 25 seconds on the track only on the last lap. The Swedes managed to mark a penalty loop, but for Peppe Femling this is not a novelty.

Disaster awaited a lot of athletes on the second standing. Tomas Mykishka and Fabien Claude miraculously managed to close all the targets using extra bullets. But Jeremy Finnelo, who came to the range with this pair, didn't succeed. In general, the Swiss was able to hit only one target, and went to 4 penalty loops. The same fate befell the nearest group of pursuers, none of them escaped penalty loops, just some less and some more. So, Germany - 3, Norway - 1, Ukraine - 4, Austria - 3. But Giacomel, Ponsilouma, Shommer, Strolia, who came a little later, fell into calm, and fired back with 5-6 rounds.

This incident lifted the Swedes from 15th to 4th, the Italians from 10th to 3rd, and the Norwegians lost only a couple of positions, and ended up in 5th place.

Perhaps this was the highlight of the race, because then the weather took a short break, and at the next standing again forced some athletes to run penalty loops, but not in the same quantity.

Emilien Jacquelin arrived at the 6th shooting in the lead, Jakub Strvetski 20 seconds later. The Frenchman chose not to stand for a long time, quickly shot, went to the penalty loop, and the Czech preferred to aim, and avoided penalty meters, but still ended up behind the Frenchman. However, on the track, he played 7 seconds without any problems from the Frenchman and took the lead, now Jacqueline is out of shape, who barely finished the race to the end.

Sturla Legrade continued the Norwegian tradition and also went for an additional 150 meters. However, by the transfer of the baton, the Norwegian still turned out to be third. Johannes Boe and Sebastian Samuelsson entered the game 50 seconds behind the Czech.

With such a wind, there were still chances for the German team, which was a minute behind the Norwegians and the Swedes.

In the prone of the 4th leg, Quentin Fillon Maillet quickly cleared the targets. Marecek, who was shooting in parallel with him, went to the 2 penalty loops. And the Swede and the Norwegian, although they did without penalty meters, lay on the cold mat for quite a long time, using all the extra bullets. Johannes immediately broke away from weaker opponents, and rushed after Quentin.

But no luck, the wind finally died down, and the Frenchman and Norwegian quickly, as if at training, hit all 5 targets on the first try. Samuelsson was able to beat Marecek without any problems.

Unbelievable but true, the Norwegians were beaten in the men's relay.
