Norway's mixed relay victory with a touch of intrigue

Norway wins the mixed relay, well, who would have doubted?

Ingrid Tandrevold immediately indicated that the intrigue in today's race was that the Norwegian couldn't close all the targets on the standing, went to the penalty loop, and passed the baton 55 seconds behind the leader.

Marte Roeiseland didn't improve the situation either, she won back only 5 seconds, and Laegreid began the race 50 seconds behind the then-leading Italy-France pair.

But already on the first prone, Jacquelin, Doll, and Ponsiluoma had problems, but Norwegian close all targets very fast. On the standing, the leaders still had misses, and Sturla is impeccable! And for the final lap of this stage, the first three went together: Bionaz, Laegreid and Jacquelin, but by the end of the lap, Didier Bionaz was somewhat behind his rivals.

Ponsiuloma managed to catch up a little - 18 seconds. Michal Krchmar also, due to the mistakes of his opponents, managed to catch up to the leaders great, and was only 27 seconds behind, like David Komatz. Benedikt Doll, because of the penalty loop, actually deprived Germany of the chance for a medal.

Johannes Boe, Quentin Fillon Maillet and others entered the game. And already on the prone, something incredible happened. The Norwegian and the Frenchman, with only three extra bullets, could close all the targets, while losing a lot of time. Samuelson made Hanna Oberg do *facepalm* - 3 penalty loops. It seems that the mockery of the Norwegians over the Swedes wount stop.

But who managed to avoid problems is Tomasso Giacomel, and it was the Italian who led the race. Eder and Mikishka succeeded in the same shooting, but they were a little further away, 30-35 seconds behind the Italian. But unfortunately, at the last standing, no one gave a chance to the Austrian and the Czech.

It took Giacomel and Boe six bullets to close the targets, and together they began the final lap. 22 seconds behind, in complete safety, was Quentin Fillon Maillet.

The struggle for gold, as expected, didn't work out, Johannes Boe went into the lead on the closest climb, and brought the race to victory.
