Anamarija Lampic got second place at Ski-Cross World Cup last year at sprints and 8th place at Total. She changed career from skiing to biathlon, and yesterday and today ran her first official races.
In yesterday's sprint, she placed 6th, but showed the fastest speed on the track. She was 58 seconds ahead of the closest rival, fantastic.
Today, she placed just 15th place in pursuit, but she missed 7 times, and again showed the best speed.
Slovenian is ready for World Cup, she got enough IBU qualification points. Also, Slovenian women's team hasn't strong biathletes, and to individual race in Kontiolahti was registered just Ziva and Polona Clemencic. One more free place in the team waits for Anamarija.
