The Ukrainian biathlete, who took part at the IBU Cup this season, passed a positive doping test. At the moment, he is suspended from training and all competitions.
The Biathlon Federation of Ukraine has not yet commented on this situation, and hasn't announced whether it will apply for the opening of test B.
The doping test was taken on March 27, 2021.
This season Ruslan is performing extremely poorly, out of five races, the best result is 68th place in the sprint in Sjusjoen at the IBU Cup.
