Franziska Preuss won the race and the Globe in incredible fight!

Before the start of the race, Lou Jeanmonneau was ahead of Franziska Preuss by 5 points, and in fact, whoever finishes higher in the race will win the title. But it turned out even cooler than the fight between Kaisa Makarainen and Anastasia Kuzmina 7 years ago.

In the first shooting, Jeanmonneau missed, and Preuss was accurate. But the Frenchwoman almost completely reduced the gap on the next lap.

In the second prone, both were accurate, but Preuss did not allow the Frenchwoman to get closer.

In the third shooting, Preuss makes a mistake, and Jeanmonneau takes the lead, but Preuss is only 9 seconds behind, and between them is Elvira Oberg.

And the final shooting, all the rivals miss except for two contenders for the title. Jeanmonnot and Preuss on the track, on the last lap, in the last race of this season, they decide who will win the Big Crystal Globe.

The Frenchwoman took the lead, but she ran so slowly that Elvira Oberg reduced the gap of 16 seconds within a kilometer. It seemed that if the Swede decided to make a jerk, no one would run after her.

But Preuss was the first to start the spurt, Jeanmonnot supported her and even overtook her, but the Swede fell behind.

And before the final long descent, Preuss overtook Jeanmonnot on the outside trajectory, possibly leaving the Frenchwoman too little space, and she fell. But it seems there was no contact.

Most likely, Preuss won the title, since no one has ever been punished for racing incidents in biathlon. Just remember the impudent Swedes, who get away with everything every time.
