France wins mixed relay, Czechs snatch second place

Simon - Jeanmonnot - Perrot and Jacquelin were the fastest in each of their stages, so the finishing advantage of one and a half minutes is not the result of mistakes by their rivals, France is much stronger.

Perhaps Norway could have fought for the victory, but Ingrid Tandrevold was the anti-hero of the day - two penalty laps, and a shocking 2:11 deficit after the first stage. Laegreid and Johannes Boe pulled the team up higher, but they were unable to drag Norway to the podium.

For a long time, Italy, the Czech Republic, Germany, Slovakia and Poland were in contention for silver and bronze. But half of them had a weak link at some stage. First, Poland left this company, then Slovakia, and already at the last leg, trouble came from where they least expected - from Tomasso Giacomel.

The Germans and Czechs were also slowing down, so by the last lap they were almost caught by Johannes Boe, Sebastian Samuelsson and Niklas Hartweg

And if Justus Strelow was 30 seconds ahead of these three, then Michal Krcmar was only 10 seconds ahead, and it seemed that the Czechs were in danger. But no, it was Strelow who was in danger, who could not maintain the pace of the last lap, the Czech caught up with him and passed.

Samuelsson and Boe also approached German, but the Swede wanted this third place so much that he attacked Boe along the inside trajectory, miscalculated the speed, fell himself, and almost dragged the Norwegian with him. All this slowed the pace a little, and Strelow kept 3rd place for Germany.
