One by one, biathletes from the top teams started making mistakes: First Fabien Claude - 1 penalty loop, then Martin Ponsiluoma - 2 loops, then Tarjei Boe - 1 loop. And against the backdrop of these failures, at the halfway point, the teams of Germany and Italy took the lead.
