Johannes Boe was much more accurate than his rivals, which allowed him to win the race.
Johannes Boe and Martin Uldal started the race quickly, slightly increasing their advantage, and even without misses on the first prone. And only Emilien Jacquelin was able to win against this pair by the end of the first lap, as much as 13 seconds. The Frenchman was dragging Samuelsson and Laegreid.
On the second prone, Johannes shot a little slower, but much more accurately than his opponent - Uldal went on two penalty loops. The three pursuers did without misses, and pulled closer to Boe, the rest of the peloton was losing to the Norwegian.
But Boe does not make mistakes, but his rivals are quite - Jacquelin and Laegreid made one miss on the standing, and Samuelsson reeled off two penalty loops. Johannes' advantage reached 45 seconds over Jacquelin, and 50 over Perrault and Laegreid.
Johannes missed one shot at the last shooting, but had already served his penalty, while his pursuers had not even started shooting yet.
Jacquelin added another penalty loop to himself, and came out 10 seconds behind Eric Perrot, who made 20 out of 20 today.
Lægreid and Samuelsson missed twice, but this had almost no effect on their final positions, only Vebjørn Sørum squeezed ahead.
And the sprint winner missed as many as 6 times in total, and fell to 21st place, and, unusually, lost 6 positions on the last lap.
