France's second in row victory in the men's relay, the Norwegians are second again

The battle for victory, as was expected before the start of the race, was between Norway and France. Legreid won against Claude, then Fillon Maillet won against Tarjei Boe, then it seemed that Eric Perrault would win against the Norwegian again, but Johannes Boe easily won back 20 seconds from the Frenchman, and the relay transfer to the last leg again took place nearby.

It was all up to Vebjorn Sorum and Emilien Jacquelin. And the Frenchman had some problems with the ski fastenings from the beginning, and his shooting also didn't go well. But despite two misses and a 20-second gap, he remained in the fight. He didn't rush on the track, he went at his own pace.

And at the final standing, the Norwegian's nerves gave out - 1 penalty lap, in complete wind calm. The Frenchman easily closed the targets using 1 extra round, and ran away with a 15-second advantage over the Norwegian.

But Sweden and Germany, who in theory should have joined this fight, frankly failed.

The Swedes «made the whole game» by Nelin and Brandt, bringing a lag of 2 minutes. And the Germans just steadily lost little by little, and Riethmuller also screwed up big time in his stage.

Therefore, after 3/4 of the distance, as many as 6 teams were competing for 3rd place: Slovenia, Germany, Sweden, Czechia, USA and Switzerland. But Strvecky and Brown, after the prone, fell behind a little, and the new Swiss dropped out altogether.

Samuelsson, Nawrath and Planko came together for the last shooting, everyone had problems, but Sebastian and Lovro left the shooting range earlier, and Nawrath spent another 10 seconds.

Of course, Samuelsson versus Planko, what chances does the Slovenian have? None. But he kept 4th place. Slovenia surprises again.
