Germany wins the women's relay in Hochfilzen by a huge gap

Julia Simon won the first leg. The Frenchwoman had not yet matched the pace of the peloton at the start of the race and decided to break away from the rest of the group. Perfect shooting, and some of the girls had not yet hit the mat, but Julie Simon was already running on the second lap with a 15-second advantage.

She lost this gap a little due to two misses in the second shooting, but still remained the leader and dragged a 10-second advantage to the finish.

However, only Minkinnen and Jislova were able to hold on. Voigt, Magnusson, and Dmitrenko were already 20 seconds behind.

On the next stage, Justin Braisaz somehow managed to shoot and retained the lead. Julia Tannheimer joined her, using only one extra round.

Maria Todorova led the Bulgarian team to 3rd place. Next to her were Aita Gasparin and Karoline Knotten, all three were 30 seconds behind. Another 20 seconds were behind from Dzhima from Ukraine.

But the rest of the participants had problems with hitting the target. Heidenberg - 1 penalty loop, Charvatova - two penalty loops, Lehtonnen stood at the shooting range for a minute and a half waiting for silence. And they all ended up far behind.

In the third leg, France and Germany remained in the lead, having problems in turn in the prone and standing positions.

Lena Häecki-Gross (+46 sec) came in third, and Lora Hristova from Bulgaria unexpectedly ended up in 4th place, but she was already losing more than a minute, and Ella Halvarsson almost caught up with her.

The others were already losing more than two minutes. Ukrainian Krivonos looked especially sad, having missed only one shot, but losing 2 minutes to Sophie Chauveau!

At the last leg there was a battle between the two leaders of the overall standings - Franziska Preuss versus Lou Jeanmonnot. In prone, Jeanmonnot had two missed targets, but she managed with extra rounds, but on the track she was unable to catch Preuss. And Preuss came to the final standing with a small advantage.

But Preuss doesn't make mistakes today, 10 out of 10! Lou Jeanmonnot couldn't close one of the targets even after four attempts, and went to the penalty loop. But this did not affect the final place in any way, her pursuers were too far away.

The fourth participant of the Swiss team was Elisa Gasparin, she had an advantage of 50 seconds over Elvira Oberg. And she lost it already by the 2nd range. Then there was no fight, Elvira Oberg, like Preuss, today without mistakes, so why couldn't she shoot in the sprint as well?

Eliza Gasparin also lost fourth place for the Swiss team. The Slovenian team rose to fourth place. It was Anamarija Lampič who won 30 seconds in her leg, and moved the team up to 7th place. And Polona Klemenčič did not let us down - flawless shooting, mistakes by her rivals, and Slovenia in the flower ceremony.

Unfortunately, Bulgarian Zdravkova lost everything in shooting, 3 penalty laps, and Bulgaria is sliding down to its already familiar place in the second ten.
