Franziska Preuss did not allow her rivals to get close to her on the first lap, shot perfectly in prone, and remained the leader. Knotten and Jeanmonnot were 20 seconds behind. And Julia Simon, who started 17th, came up to 4th place, although the Frenchwoman was significantly behind - 40 seconds.
Chauveau, Grotian, Davidova, Lampic - had a miss, Braisaz - two misses, and this whole company was already more than a minute behind.
But Jeanmonnot and Knotten didn't work together, and Lou immediately rushed to catch up with the leading German, and even reduced her lead by 10 seconds. Preuss was accurate in the second prone, and also shot quickly, so everything that the Frenchwoman had made up on the track, Preuss got back thanks to her fast shooting.
The pursuers also made no mistakes. Knotten and Simon were 35 seconds behind, and Chauveau, Wierer and Halvarsson - 45.
Preuss's first mistakes began in the standing, as many as two penalty laps, and Jeanmonnot also knocked out all five. But the German came out of the penalty lap right next to Knotten, 26 seconds behind the Frenchwoman.
In the final shooting, Lou Jeanmonnot finally put an end to it, hitting all five targets, and relaxedly ran the last lap. But the pursuers missed a lot of shots, only Vogt and Halvarsson were able to make 5 out of 5.
