Sweden wins women's relay in Lahti, France and Norway on the podium

In the first leg, Lou Jeanmonnot managed to make a small 17-second gap for France over the other teams. The Czechia, Sweden, Estonia, Norway, Finland, Belgium and Poland were also within 30 seconds.

In the second leg, the leader Justine Braisaz almost lost her advantage, having used a total of 5 extra rounds to close all the targets. But only Marketa Davidova took advantage of this. The Czech left for her last lap with a 13-second lead, but still let the Frenchwoman pass her at the exchange leg.

Unusually, the representatives of Finland - Venta Lehtonen, Belgium - Maya Cloetens and Dorothea Wierer managed to stay in the top. But Karoline Knotten and Sara Andresson dropped their teams, the Norwegian and the Swede were unable to cope with the shooting, they had a penalty loop each. The rest of the rivals were already losing more than a minute at the equator of the race.

Sophie Chauveau continued to be the leader, but the Czech Vobornikova had problems with the shooting - first, she couldn't close the last target, and then the cartridge got stuck, and she lost another ten seconds. As a result, her advantage melted away, and she, in the company of Hamalainen, Hanna Oberg and Auchentaller, went to the second lap, losing about 40 seconds to the Frenchwoman.

Hanna Oberg started well, making up 20 seconds in 2 laps, but on the last lap she lost the rest of her strength, and Maren Kirkeide overtook her, and Hanna Auchentaller almost caught up. Tereza Vobornikova finished 30 seconds behind, and the next participant was already losing 1:46 - Inka Hamalainen, the Finn was unable to close the targets, and worked a penalty lap.

But Julia Simon gives gifts to her rivals, and to the fans - intrigue. The Frenchwoman passed the prone flawlessly, and in the standing she was unable to close one target and began the final lap already behind Elvira Oberg.

It could have been a triple duel, but Tandrevold, who started shooting at the same time as the Swede, was not as successful, and in the end was content with only 3rd place.

But the duel did not work out either. At the end of the climb, Simon stumbled and got injured, or got injured first - it is unclear. Through the pain, she reached the finish line, almost letting the Norwegian pass.

Italy are one and a half minutes behind the winner, with Austria and the Czech Republic two and a half minutes behind.
