The prize money will increase slightly in all individual races - sprint, pursuit, individual and mass start. The prize fund for each race has been increased from 93,750 euros to 101,500 euros.
1-2 places are unchanged, but starting from 3rd place, the cash prizes will be increased by an average of 5-8%. The number of athletes included in the prize money will remain unchanged - top 30.
The prizes for the classic and mixed relays will remain unchanged.
There are also innovations, firstly, 500 euros for the owner of the blue jersey for each race in it.
And secondly, a prize of 2000 euros is introduced for the participant who showed the best time in the pursuit, regardless of his starting and finishing position.
At the World Championships, one and a half times more is allocated for awards than at the World Cup, and there will be very small changes there. The total fund for each race has increased by only 2.5%.
