This weekend, the national championships are taking place in Norway. All members of the national team were supposed to take part in the competition, but for some reason, Johannes Boe, Vetle Christiansen and Endre Strømsheim didn't start the race.
The race was won by Olav Botn, who was a sensation last year, but due to the tight competition in the main team, he was able to open up only at the end of the season. Two more podium places were taken by Vebjørn Sørum and Aspen Uldal (not to be confused with Martin).
But the representatives of the main team failed - Laegreid was a minute behind, and took 7th place. Johannes Dale was only 28th, and Tarjei Boe was one of the last - 35th place, terrible.
Karoline Knotten won the women's sprint, beating her closest rival, Ragnild Femsteinvik, by 56 seconds.
Frida Dokken came in third.
Ingrid Tandrevold was 2:29 behind, finishing in 15th place. However, let's not forget that the Norwegian is recovering from an injury.
The mass starts will take place tomorrow.
