Sivert Bakken lost two years of his life due to Covid-19 vaccine side effects

Have you forgotten the guy who in the 2021/2022 season took 9th place in total, becoming the 4th strongest Norwegian, beating even the faded Johannes Boe that season?

The next season he disappeared from the radar and was gradually forgotten about. But he didn't end his career, and he wasn't written off. At that time, the Norwegians hadn't yet taken the top 6 places at the finish line, and the winner of the mass start was not thrown into team B.

Sivert feld a severe side effect from the vaccine, which affected his heart.

«After a few days, I felt more and more pain, as if someone had grabbed my heart with a fist and squeezed it. I had problems with fibrillation in the past, so I thought this pain was related to all this, but today I know that it was not the cause.

In the following months the situation worsened, it was difficult for me, and at times I was very scared, because there was no end in sight.

I couldn't wait for it to go away so I could move on with my life without severe pain. Even the sports aspect and my career in biathlon no longer bothered me.» Sievert Bakken told TV2.

«The pain lasted a lot longer than I thought, I spent a lot of time lying on the sofa and resting. I didn't know what to do.»

During all this time, the Norwegian biathlete underwent numerous examinations, met with the best doctors and no one found any reason other than the 3rd dose of the Covid vaccine.

Now he has resumed training, but taking last season, he does not even set a target to get into the A team, there is no crowd there. His goal is to participate in national championships and possibly qualify for the IBU Cup.
