Lisa Vittozzi wins the sprint in Canmore and comes close to Tandrevold in the overall

Justine Braisaz started number one, and all competitors were guided by her result. The Frenchwoman made one mistake on prone, but no longer showed the crazy speed she had a week earlier. In the end, she took only 8th place, which is completely atypical for her.

Lou Jeanmonnot, Lena Haecki, Lisa Vittozzi and Hanna Oberg showed almost the same time at the end of the second lap. But the Swede didn't have enough stamina for the last lap.

And the best of the four was Lisa Vittozzi, who showed the best time on the last lap. By the way, this is the first victory in the sprint this season for the Italian.

Lou Jeanmonnot and Julia Simon are still in contention for the Crystal Globe, with Lou in second and Simon in fourth.

Lena Hackey-Gross took third place.

But the leader of the overall standings, as if on purpose, fuels the intrigue. Ingrid Tanrevold is only 17th, a minute behind the leader. She is still the leader, but Vittozzi is already close behind her, and after the pursuit everything could change.

After all, Vittozzi starts from a much higher position than the Norwegian.

Anamaria Lampic probably had the best race in terms of shooting this season - only two misses and 9th place.
