Johannes Boe won the pursuit starting from 17th place

The two Frenchmen did not allow anyone to approach them during the first lap, and after prone, Emilien Jacquelin was left alone.

The Frenchman continued to increase his pace, and on the next lap he won another 10-15 seconds over his closest pursuers. Even the Boe brothers lost 5 seconds to him. On the second prone he was again flawless, and his lead over his closest rival, Sturla Lægreid, increased to 30 seconds.

Samuelsson made two mistakes and fell back. Eric Perrot also took another penalty. By this time, Johannes Kühn had moved into third place, with brothers Boe and Tomasso Jacomel 15 seconds behind him.

But then Jacquelin started to have problems, 3 misses in the standing, and the leadership was lost. Due to one mistake, Laegreid was also forced to visit the penalty loop, but still it was Sturla who became the leader of the race. And Johannes Boe had already lined up behind him. Yes, Johannes started 17th, didn't any mistakes, and now he is already in the lead. Jacquelin, despite 3 laps, was still 10 seconds behind. 21-26 seconds behind, that is, one penalty loop away, were Samuelsson, Dazhkomel, Kühn and Tarjei Boe.

At the last shooting, both Norwegians missed and ran into a penalty loop, but Jacquelin hit all 5 targets and again led the race. However, Johannes Boe was only 10 seconds behind, Lægreid was 13 behind, and Tarjei Boe, the only one of the four who managed to make 5 out of 5, was 17 seconds behind the leader.

But alas, Jacquelin turned out to be a victim, and the Norwegians turned out to be predators. Johannes passed the Frenchman quite quickly, but Lægreid and Tarjei had to work harder. At first, Boe was ahead of Jacquelin, but Lægreid was no longer strong enough, and the Frenchman still retained third place.
