Sturla Lægreid failed the race a little, earning a penalty loop. But Tarjei Boe restored Norway's leadership, and Johannes Boe made a gap of 30 seconds from Sweden, and a minute or more from the rest. But Vetle Christiansen decided that it was too boring, he was tired of kneeling or bowing, and there were no place for ski jumping in Nove Mesto, so he hit only 2 targets out of 8 at the final shooting.
Finally, the day has come when Jesper Nelin and Victor Brandt perform normally in the relay. They used only 4 extra rounds between them, and passed the relay to more experienced teammates 18 seconds behind the leader. And then the Norwegians give out such gifts. Ponsiluoma and Samuelson did not miss theirs, the Swedes got the gold!
The French made problems for themselves at first - Eric Perrot and Fabien Claude made 12 mistakes between them and earned 3 penalty loops. But Emilien Jacquelin and Quentin Fillon Maillet brought France back into the fight, first for third place, and after the Norwegian extravaganza, into the fight for silver, all with the same Christiansen.
The Frenchman fought until the last meters, but still lost to Christiansen.
Germany was close to a medal, Benedikt Doll shot together with the Frenchman at the last shooting stage, but could not clear the last target, and ended up in 4th place.
Quite unexpectedly, the US team is in 5th place.
