Norwegians again on the podium, Johannes Boe and Laegreid swapped places

Johannes Boe decided not to drag Laegreid on himself, and immediately attempted an attack, and successfully broke away from Sturla. But failure awaited both of them at the first shooting. Moreover, if Johannes limited himself to one miss and joined Christiansen, then Laegreid missed twice, and also let Perrot, Samuelsson, Tarjei Boe, and Dale go ahead.

At the second shooting, Johannes Boe plunged even deeper into the swamp +2 misses, but Christiansen was accurate and became the leader of the race. The trio of Tarjei Boe, Samuelsson and Dale were 30 seconds behind. Perrot, who was running with them, made a mistake twice. Laegreid made no mistakes this time, but even so he failed to get close to Johannes Boe. Hofer and Fillon Maillet were already two minutes behind in the 9th and 10th positions.

Christiansen made one miss on the standing, but remained in the lead. Johannes Boe easily gained 10 seconds from the trio in front, and the whole four approached the first stand together. Dale and Samuelsson did not shoot well, the Norwegian suffered 3 penalty loops, and the Swede two. But the Boe brothers hit all the targets and rushed in pursuit of Christiansen, their lag was only 17 seconds. Sturla Lægreid also made no mistakes, but was still outside the fight for the top 3. He needed a serious failure from one of the top three to qualify for a medal. And it happened.

Christiansen made two mistakes and ran into penalties. Johannes Boe, as befits a champion, made no mistakes in the final shooting and left as the leader. But Tarjei Boe hit only one target, and went to 600 penalty meters.

Lægreid made 5 out of 5, and joined Christiansen, and it was these guys who competed for silver and bronze. And then a small miracle happened. Christiansen was unable to keep up Laegreid's pace and let him go on the penultimate climb.

Johannes Dale is 4th, and Tarjei Boe was able to get ahead of Samuelsson, so the Norwegians took the first five places.
