Enkhbat Enkhsaikhan, a 21-year-old athlete competing for the Mongolian national team, won his first medal, and for the entire Mongolian biathlon in general.
Enkhbat Enkhsaikhan is showing very good results this year. A week earlier, he finished 6th and 11th at the IBU Junior Cup. This guy even competed at the World Cup two years ago, showing not even the latest results.
He was only 1.6 seconds ahead of Finn Kalle Loukkaanhuhta who, like Enkhbat, was able to hit all 20 targets. Other opponents made mistakes 2 or more times, and it was their mistakes that allowed the Mongolian to win the individual.
